Use/Good point
This apparatus is used for the measurement of the constant frictional force that occurs in between the specimen and the metal drum surface for the purpose of considering the comfort (dryness) or adhesion (moistness) of clothes. The rotary drum is located in a resin desiccator and there is a hole on the top of the desiccators to fall in drops to determine adhesion of wet clothes. It is also applicable to the determination of the frictional force difference corresponding to the environmental humidity change.
The LCD display indicates "real time value", "peak value" and "mean value" of the frictional force through the entire measurement progress from the beginning.
In addition, with the pen recorder, a time varying frictional force is recorded. Moreover, the measurement data can be transferred into a PC through the USB connector.
